This week, Nicole is joined by Betches Podcast Director Sean Kilby to chat about his experience as a DOC - Day Of Coordinator. They go through his day step by step - discussing exactly what he did as a DOC and what qualities couples should look for when seeking one out. Sean then offers his advice to couples on how to make their wedding "Amazing!" vs. “it was nice” - The secret? Always offer shots. Lastly, they listen to Betches Brides first ever voicemail submission and offer reassurance to a nervous bride.

This week Nicole is joined by three-peat guest and wedding wardrobe queen, Caroline Crawford Patterson. They start off by reading listener-submitted emails covering everything from revealing wedding dresses, mismatched bridal party outfits, to dress shopping with a large group. Then, they play a new game called “Would You Rather” where they test which wedding faux pas they would rather experience. Finally, they close out with “Unpopular Opinions'' but with a twist.

This week Nicole is re-joined by Betches own Bryan Russell Smith to chat about his fast approaching destination wedding. They start off by Bryan giving the latest updates on his planning and how he is working through the last minute details - which includes learning how to address his fiancé's family in (almost) fluent Spanish. Then, they play a round of “Unpopular Opinions” discussing topics like, how long should a ceremony drag on, and do destination bach parties need to stop? Lastly, they read a listener's submitted email about wedding gift expectations from a guests point of view.

This week, Nicole is joined by clinical psychologist Dr. Naomi Bernstein, co-host of the Betches Oversharing Podcast and Jordana’s sister. They start off by chatting about a very popular topic, “The Post Wedding Blues” and how it affects couples after their big day. Finally, they read a listener email and discuss how couples should handle arguments that pop up during wedding planning.

This week, Nicole is joined by her very own wedding photographer, Alex Ashman. They start off by reminiscing about Nicole’s wedding and just how they got the perfect wedding photos. Alex goes on to say just how difficult it can be to find a wedding photographer, because you need someone just as unique as your big day. Then, they talk about how your photographer can make the day easier for the couple and also how the couple can make it easier on the photographer (here's a hint - feed them). Finally, they end with a listener’s email, going into detail on how they should set up their timeline for the day from a photographer perspective.

This week Nicole is re-joined by Caroline Ripa for a very special mail bag episode. They start by catching up with everything Caroline has been up to since she was last on the show. Then, they answer hot topic emails like debating the age-old question of “kids or no kids on the big day” and how it’s OK to be more nonchalant about your wedding. Next, Nicole debuts a new segment called “Wedding Regrets” where they read some listeners' wedding regrets to give their advice and reassurance. Lastly, they play a round of “Unpopular Opinions” where we get Caroline's opinions, as a designer, on wedding fonts, card boxes, and seating charts.

Nicole is joined this week by BETCHES very own, Amanda Duberman. In this episode, Amanda focuses on narrowing down her non-negotiables, which mainly consists of her need for good NYC food, and who can blame her? She then asks Nicole for her advice when it comes to DIYing a majority of her wedding. Nicole’s big tip is solidifying after party plans if you want the festivities to last all night. They then read an email submission about getting post engagement anxiety, and how Amanda combats this by focusing on making her special day very personal rather than traditional. How? By adding politics, of course. Lastly, they play a game of “Unpopular Opinions”, discussing topics like: having an open bar, wearing a cape vs. a veil, and if you should worry about “half-assing” your wedding planning.

This week, Nicole is joined by Mikayla Nogueira, a successful makeup artist and 2023 bride. They chat about Mikayla’s dating journey with her fiance' and how it convinced her to believe in love at first sight. Then, Mikayla reveals that she actually gave direction when it came to her engagement ring, since you know, she'll be wearing it everyday. She then shares that a “clean and classic” aesthetic is her vision for the wedding, but will she pull a Christine Quinn and have a sloth make an appearance? Lastly, Nicole asks who Mikayla would trust to do her makeup on the big day and the answer will shock you. No, unfortunately it’s not Rihanna.

Nicole is joined today by the one, the only, the new Jordana Marinelli (well, still Abraham for now). Refreshed from her honeymoon, Jordana is ready to relive every moment with us and share her tips along the way. Warning, she’s honest about what honeymooners have to suffer through… surrounded by cake, champagne, and rose petals, it’s truly horrible! First, they started their trip off in Sri Lanka with a tea tour and a wildlife safari in Yala National Park. Next, The Maldives, where they hopped on a sea plane to be transported to their picturesque overwater bungalow surrounded by clear blue water and relaxation. On their way home, they decided to take a 36 hour layover in Dubai, where in that short amount of time her husband, Michael, convinced her to go skydiving. Because why not fall (pun intended) in love all over again while plummeting down to earth.

Nicole is back in the studio, and this week she’s joined by bride-to-be Taelor Pawnell (aka Stylish Sista) for a very informative wedding planning debrief. Taelor tells us all about how she met her fiancé, why she decided to hire a “budget” wedding planner, and how she ended up getting the engagement photos of her dreams. Plus, she fills us in on the bridesmaid powerpoint that went viral, along with how to get your hands on the ready-made template yourself. Never too early to get the bridesmaids organized, amirite? Next, Taelor shares her best advice for when you’re shopping for a plus size wedding dress. Finally, she tells us about the ingenious guest-experience she has planned for her upcoming wedding (hint: Ms. Pac-man would be proud).
