Beyond the Gates sees Leslie Thomas (Trisha Mann-Grant) is revealed as Vernon Dupree's (Clifton Davis) child, and a surprise wedding is set to stun audiences. Alison (Brianna Roberts), a character known for her unstable behavior, drugs and kidnaps Chelsea Hamilton (RhonniRose Mantilla) during her launch party, leading to a tense showdown. The storyline between Vernon Dupree and Leslie continues to unfold, with Anita Dupree (Tamara Tunie) slapping Leslie in a dramatic confrontation.

Beyond the Gates sees June, portrayed by Jasmine Burke, breaks into the house of Bradley 'Smitty' Smith (Mike Manning) and Martin Richardson (Brandon Claybon).
