Beyond the Gates spoilers for August 18th through the 22nd shows that Anita Dupree, played by Tamara Tunie, is left distraught while Chelsea Hamilton (RhonniRose Mantilla) faces an attack just before her big purse launch party. 

BTG spoilers reveal that Ashley Morgan (Jen Jacob) seeks Shanice Johnson's (Ernestine Johnson) help for Derek Baldwin (Ben Gavin), who may not be able to walk again. Meanwhile, Dana 'Leslie' Thomas (Trisha Mann) discovers a significant change in her life: she may be inheriting a substantial sum of money. The Dupree family continues to face crisis after crisis, with Leslie being a primary source of the problems.

And, weekly spoilers for Beyond the Gates indicate that Dr. Doug McBride (Jason Graham) offers unsolicited advice to Dr. Ted Richardson (Maurice Johnson), despite his own tumultuous life. On Tuesday, Anita is reminded of painful memories from her past, and Naomi Hamilton Hawthorne (Arielle Prepetit) delivers distressing news. An intruder enters Bradley 'Smitty' Smith's (Mike Manning) and Martin Richardson's (Brandon Claybon) house, adding to the chaos.

Plus, spoilers for BTG hint that Anita and Leslie have a heated confrontation, and Eva Thomas (Ambyr Michelle) drops a shocking revelation on Tomas "Tom" Hernandez (Alex Alegria). Andre Richardson (Sean Freeman), after hearing about Derek's accident, rushes to the hospital, but is met with hostility by Ashley.

Also, more weekly Beyond the Gates spoilers show that Vanessa McBride (Lauren Buglioli) takes on a new, demanding client. Nicole Dupree Richardson (Daphnee Duplaix) provides a relationship update to Kat (Colby Muhammad), while Vernon Dupree (Clifton Davis) seeks legal help from Bill Hamilton (Timon Kyle Durrett). On the final day of the week, the launch party for Kat and Chelsea's handbag line takes a disastrous turn as Chelsea is attacked, and Ted Richardson (Keith D. Robinson) seeks legal advice from Bill.
