The postures of the Original Hot Yoga / Bikram Yoga class WORK at whatever level you can "accomplish" them.  Whether you have a long spine, short spine, sore muscles, injured body parts, it doesn't matter.

With practice and wisdom you will start to see the non-sensical nature of the thought: "I'll go (back) to yoga when my ________________ is better.  In here we can work around a cast, a sling, a missing body part, normal structural imbalances, injuries, and so much more.  It is 100% about your willingness.

In this class we also went into the heart as a whole-body organ, and how our models of the heart can restrict not only our understanding, but also our empowerment and our healing capabilities.  Yoga is a discipline of freedom, yet again!

I just completed by 4th lab course with Gil Hedley, which always expands and deepens my understanding of human existence, minds, thoughts, diversity, anatomy, and so much else.
