Anthony Jenkins, a transman of color and registered nurse, joins us on today’s episode in our “My Mental Matters” Season of the Black Men Vent Too Podcast. He loves to lift weights and do anything active within the community. Anthony is prideful about God and loves to give back through serving with youth in any way possible . On today’s show, he vents heavily about the challenges of being a nurse during the break of COVID . Nurses really had it rough, and he was an unspoken hero within all the madness . Mr. Jenkins then goes on in the second half to vent about how important it is to educate ourselves on the importances of seeing someone who is struggling, & doing a better job of checking in on one another . Man, this guy right here … a true gem . A humble spirit , a man of integrity and purpose , and just a guy that loves what he does in helping other people reach their dreams . Alex Cruz (affectionately goes by “Cruz”) is the owner of Cruz Control Ent. They specialize in content creation such as graphic designs, photography, videography, and much more! Cruz is also a music artist by the name of “Crxz”(Cruz) where

he makes conscious/motivational hip hop music but also presents a versatile style like no other. From Allentown, Pennsylvania, Cruz moved to Murfreesboro in 2019 and hasn’t looked back since. He vents on today’s episodes about a wide range of topics from his near death experience, his fatherhood role, and just how life can be so hard mentally … while others may look over at his life and believe it’s so easy . A lot of what was said by Cruz on today’s show needs to be heard 🙏🏽

LET’S GET INTO IT 🔥 as COCKY as he can be, J Spence has taken over Nashville in a many of ways . Born in Memphis, TN, a graduate of Tennessee State University, a well-known business owner of the streetwise brand titled “Cocky”, easily had one of the hottest dance moves that went viral in Nashville years back, former D-1 Football offer from Missouri, but … has had some misfortunes as well. Extensive jail time , fighting , been stereotyped , losing friends , these were just a few things J Spence vented about today. He dedicates his hustle to his mom. At an early age of 14, he had to adapt grown man principles and responsibilities. He was homeless at this age, sleeping in an abandoned home near his mothers house .

A former Tennessee State University Football player, “Big Game James” spends the majority of his time being a family man and enjoying time with his children. Married, with 2 children both 16 and 11 years old, James has found a true love for just embracing being a family man. He vents with us today on a variety of things, but one topic he stood his ground on was the family experience and being that example for his son. As a podcast, we love to talk to “girl dads” and give them funny scenarios that all girl dads have to face when “dating” time comes . James gave us a good laugh behind that topic as well 😂.
