Shari Pendleton Mitchell, better known as Blaze, was a very active child. She is an athlete, she started track and field when she was about 12 years old, and hasn’t stopped training since. Olympic coaches surrounded her, so naturally, she was preparing for the Olympic trials but an injury forced her out, and she decided to see this as a blessing in disguise because she ended up auditioning for American Gladiators
