We also give our best fake trades we think Ernie Grunfeld would make with this year's roster (spoiler: there might be some Trevor Ariza and Kelly Oubre talk). Prep school coaching legend Chris Chaney (@Coach_Chaney) of Scotland Campus (@scotland_hoops) joins the show to weigh in on the coaching situation in Washington. Chaney provided his perspective on whether Unseld Jr. has lost the locker room, whether your best player needs to be a leader, if teammates don't like their point guard, identifying roles and responsibilities, film study, and player body language. Chaney has won over 800 games, multiple Prep National Championships, and multiple National Coach of the Year awards. At the Prep school level you are integrating whole new teams every year so I thought he could offer some unique insight into the Wizards' challenges identifying roles and a rotation.

Former college basketball standout turned author Dan Grunfeld (@Dan_Grunfeld) joins the show to talk about his new book, "By the Grace of the Game: The Holocaust, a Basketball Legacy, and an Unprecedented American Dream." Dan's father, Ernie Grunfeld, is the only NBA player to have had parents who survived the Holocaust and Dan uses basketball to help tell his family's story. Dan also shares a few interesting nuggets of information about what his dad is really like behind the scenes and his own stories from their time in D.C. Ernie Grunfeld was always more of a private figure during his tenure as Wizards' GM so this book (and interview) should help shed some light on what makes him tick. Matt also covers: why the Wizards should not rebuild, Gafford's stellar defensive play, the Wizards' offensive struggles, Kuzma's clutchness, and a Montrezl Harrell vs Davis Bertans boxing match.
