Nestlé SA's new CEO Philipp Navratil announced plans to slash 16,000 jobs to build on a stronger-than-expected increase in quarterly sales. The job reductions will occur over the next two years and are part of Navratil's plan to increase Nestlé's target for cost savings to 3 billion Swiss francs by the end of 2027.

    - George Ferguson, Bloomberg Intelligence Senior Aerospace, Defense, & Airlines Analyst, discusses United Airlines earnings. United Airlines Holdings Inc. expects brand-loyal flyers and demand for its premium seats to drive profit through the end of the year, maintaining momentum after reporting better-than-expected earnings for the third quarter.

    -Mandeep Singh, Bloomberg Intelligence Senior Tech Industry Analyst, discusses the  top tech stories. Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co. hiked its projection for 2025 revenue growth for the second time this year,  and now foresees mid-30% growth in annual sales.

Investors led by BlackRock Inc.'s Global Infrastructure Partners agreed to buy Aligned Data Centers in a $40 billion deal. The buyers are purchasing the company from Macquarie Asset Management, with MGX, Microsoft Corp., and Nvidia Corp. investing alongside GIP.

    -Deborah Aitken, Bloomberg Intelligence Luxury Goods Analyst, discusses LVMH earnings. LVMH shares rose the most in almost a quarter century after the company unexpectedly returned to sales growth, suggesting a slump in luxury demand is easing. The company's third-quarter revenue rose just 1% on an organic basis, snapping two quarters of declines, and all divisions topped analysts' estimates.

    -Nicole D'Souza, Bloomberg Intelligence Internet and Software Equity Analyst, discusses Grindr saying its largest shareholders are exploring an acquisition that would take the company private at no less than $15 a share. James Lu and Raymond Zage have engaged financial and legal advisers to explore the possibility of taking the company private, primarily through debt financing.

    -Steve Man, Bloomberg Intelligence Global Autos and Industrials Research Analyst, discusses General Motors incurring $1.6 billion in charges tied to its pullback from electric vehicles due to US policy changes. The charges include $1.2 billion in non-cash impairment and other charges to realign EV capacity to consumer demand, and the rest relate to canceling contracts and settling commercial arrangements.
