Blue & Gold Illustrated: Notre Dame Football And Recruiting

The BGI recruiting staff previews the weekend of visits coming up at Notre Dame, reviews coaches on the road visits and discusses new Irish offers.

Notre Dame's 2018 recruiting class was talented on both sides of the ball. Heading into the 2019 season, that class absolutely must step up this offseason if the Irish are going to repeat their playoff performance. That means some of the young players step up and become standouts, some become solid starters and some become crucial depth players that push the starters.

Blue & Gold Illustrated football analyst Bryan Driskell is joined by WSBT radio analyst Vince DeDario to talk about the 2018 class and how they might fuel success in 2019. The pair talks about the offense first, the defense second, and of course finishes up with a discussion of how a 2018 quarterback signee stepping up this spring could be the ultimate key.
