The Bears fired head coach Matt Eberflus a few days after Thanksgiving last year. Just about 50 days later, the team has reportedly reached an agreement with the offensive coordinator for the Detroit Lions, Ben Johnson. WGN Radio’s afternoon sports anchor Kevin Powell, who has been inside the Bears’ locker room all season long, joins Bob Sirott and Dave Eanet to react to the decision. They discuss how the Bears were able to reel in the most sought after candidate, Johnson’s background, and who the team may target for the rest of the coaching staff vacancies.
