Writer, broadcaster, and speaker Debb Hackett was a radio journalist for more than twenty years. She is one of the leaders, lovingly called the Three Musketeers for the Blue Ridge Reader Connections. Debb’s first novel, In the Air, was an ACFW Genesis finalist in 2020 and won a Foundation Award at the Blue Ridge Mountains Christian Writers Conference in 2021. Debb also produces The Word on Wednesday devotional on her blog each week. When she’s not writing or reading, Debb can be found leading worship, and if you can swing by while she’s making scones, that would also be a win. Debb is represented by Tamela Hancock Murray of the Steve Laube Agency.
