"One of my clients has a daughter who will be taking over his bookkeeping. I knew it was coming, as that was the goal for her to graduate HS and college. My fear is - she will need to be trained more in-depth. He’s wanting me to lightly show her the ways, but I feel like I should be compensated if she needs to be taught how to do the bookkeeping. "I have a client on QBO whose bank feed for a cc disconnected a while back and when it was reconnected some transactions duplicated but at the time I didn’t know as some we’re already categorized when the others came back through. Now that I’m reconciling I see multiple that were duplicated. How do I get rid of the duplicates?"

"If a client writes all manual checks but still connects to the bank in QBO do you just use the bank feed entries and edit those? Or do you record from the manual checks then match after? The dates on the bank feed are not the check issue date but the cleared date."
