  • MY SWEET AROMA by Timothy Green

The book is a medley of easy-to-understand poems and more diverse, thought provoking ideals. It is wholly Christian poetry, but the author believes there is something for everyone although children would struggle to understand much of its meaning.

The main theme is to bring people closer to Christ and to understand what a relationship/friendship is like with him. It is a forward-thinking book ahead of its time.

The book is honest and begs to be read whether aloud or silently. Writing these psalms is an experience the author feels he will not forget. He gets great satisfaction knowing that someone, somewhere is reading the words meant to bless and nurture.

This offering is the third volume of poetry instalment and is part of a trilogy of poems/letters inspired by my loving Father. The author believes he has grown during his spiritual journey and this collection of peoms reflects growth and literary ambition to write credible but true to self.

  • An Intuitive Philosophy of Mind, Memory, and Reality by Alan Joseph Oliver

Have you ever felt someone’s eyes on the back of your head? Or perhaps you may have known who was on the phone, even before you lifted the receiver. Science calls these moments of knowing anomalies. If an anomaly cannot be measured it does not exist so far as science is concerned. I wonder how science measures a mind. Whenever I feel someone’s eyes boring into the back of my head, I ask myself if the brain can transmit information, and given the measurements carried out on the brain, I have concluded that the answer lies elsewhere.

All of the evidence points to mind being non-local, and what that means can be more than you have bargained for. For a start it means that the mind exists outside of time and space, and points to the likelihood that conscious awareness can exist beyond the body: even beyond this particular life. And since the mind exercises the faculty of memory, its content must also be outside of time and space. This last point was particularly helpful to the people who sought the assistance of the author as a healer when they were facing death. His anomaly was always able to make some real contribution to them, and the author hopes it will do the same for you.

  • Do Ask Do Tell: A Gay Conservative Lashes Back by Bill Boushka

The original Bill of Rights, sponsored largely by James Madison, is now about 210 years old. Reinforced by the Fourteenth Amendment, which eventually applied many of its provisions to the states, it has served us well. It is time to re-evaluate our fundamental constitutional rights and to seriously consider their major renovation. This is my central proposal.

Are we ready to trust ourselves as individuals with the personal responsibilities that go with rights? When the government defines personal moral values, we tend to take less account for not only our own actions but also our own underlying values, for those spiritual yearnings that make us, all unique people, who we are. We tend to lose interest in speaking for ourselves and tend to leave moral judgments to “experts” who get paid to pass judgment on all of us.I discuss a philosophy, often called libertarianism, of extremely restricted government. I present it from the personal perspective of a gay man who grew up in a period of enormous change and migration toward cultural individualism. My argument is intended for everyone, but I provide my own detailed perspectives on many issues including:

    • The parallel between draft deferments during the Vietnam era and the gays-in-the-military battle today
    • How close the gay community, as we know it, came to total catastrophe during the early days of AIDS crisis
    • What the “family values” debate is really all about
    • Volunteerism and social obligations, and how both military service and parenting fit into these
    • What “discrimination” is really all about
    • How the “Dont Tell” mentality interferes with political and social debate in many areas
    • Why equal rights for gays is important for everybody
    • A science of personal growth and why libertarianism is good for personal growth

    • GOD OUT OF THE SHADOWS: THE TRUTH ABOUT GOD SERIES – Book Two- by Delores J. Porter

How can the universal church know it needs a change, a renewal of truth, if the people don’t even know we have a serious problem?

What if evil influences got into the foundation of our Christian doctrine back in the Dark Ages, hiding the true character of God, turning multitudes against the God of Jesus Christ, and stealing our faith and miracles? Wouldn’t you want to know? The book addresses the fables in our Christian doctrine and includes the truth about God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—the one true God. The author feels like a lawyer for God, and the evidence is pure Scripture.

Knowing who God is and His design of divine partnership with His children will assist you in believing in the power of your own prayers that will produce your miracles. Without the church coming back to what Jesus taught about God, it could continue to render itself helpless against evil principalities and their hold on mankind.

Isn’t it time God was out of the shadows? America and this world are desperate to see the miracles of God!

    • Little Women Invest by Laura Tardino

The book is a guide for young women who do not work in finance and who will increasingly approach the world of investments in the future. The idea comes from the film released at the beginning of 2020 and based on the novel Little Women by Louisa May Alcott, a manifesto of women’s emancipation. The title, not surprisingly, is Little Women Invest.

Inside, general notions to understand what and how you can invest your savings using simple language with a strong reference to one of the classics of literature. The book ends with the answers to some questions asked of well-known professionals in the sector, men and women, as evidence, on the one hand, of the possible differences in approach, on the other, as financial advice to four modern March sisters. • A FLOWING THROUGH: A Series of Artistic Explorations That Flow from Simple Starting Points, Pass by Milestones and Finish with Polished Achievements by David Esling

David Esling, the author, is well-known for his creative approaches to teaching and learning during his 37 years as a Primary school teacher. This book is a narrative outlining his creative and artistic approaches to teaching and learning in a socially disadvantaged primary school in Tasmania. The school is located within a suburb of Hobart.

The author shares inspirational stories about the children and their responses to his creative approaches to learning. The stories will captivate the hearts and minds of student teachers, teachers, teachers of teachers, and all those who love to work alongside children.

The book includes not only descriptions of the author’s creative ideas, but also photographs taken by the author of real students and their work. He also includes relevant and interesting conversations between the participants. Together, they bring the stories to life and invite the reader to sit alongside and participate in the explorations and experiences.

The children’s art was often outstanding, but the journey, rather than the destination, carried the greater significance. The author used art as a means of reaching out to the children. Many of them had no wish to attend school.

Their shared successes brought about a dramatic rise in the children’s self-esteem, which in turn gave them a more positive attitude towards learning, as well as improved their relationships with each other. School became an exciting place as the teacher and the children together played the active roles of teachers and learners. They were learning how to learn.

    • TWELVE YEARS IN ALASKA: A Spiritual Journey by Melissa L. Farrell

The book is composed of a series of 30 articles that grew out of the author’s quest to find a way to live with being an open empath. The articles are divided into three categories:

      Apple PodcastsAndroidRSS
      • AWARENESS ARTICLES
      • MEAUNDERINGS
      • ANOMALIES

The “Awareness” articles introduce concepts that the author learned and has found invaluable in her own life and growth. The other articles are to share some of the experiences that she had throughout her life, that may “ring a bell” for others. And, as is true with everyone, perspective is everything and the book may help others whose perspectives are more closely related to mine.

Although the book is not an autobiography, it does include some of the author’s personal experiences in the hope that the reader may find something that relates to their own life experiences. The book is about life experiences that lead the author to a mentor, a counselor, and to Alaska.

The author had a near death experience (NDE) and hopes that people who have also had near death experiences will find the book comforting, interesting, and maybe helpful in finding ways to incorporate the many changes an NDE causes. She also believes it will appeal to people who are having difficulties in their relationships or finding dissatisfaction in their lives.

    • MESSAGES FROM THE DIVINE MOTHER: A Selection of Spiritual Conversations For Women by Dee Buchanan

What began as personal, private morning pages written by the author to calm anxiety, worry, and to explore life’s struggles, created a connection with the divine like no other. It is from this journal that the messages in the book came into existence.

The book is about our connections and relationship with our higher selves. It’s about life within. It’s about finding what works for you and how you communicate with God.

The book is simple and easy to read and understand. Readers can feel the words as they read them. They are speaking to you and only you. You can easily find a page that will resonate with how you are in the moment and get comfort from the words. The spaces are there to give the reader time to ponder and think about the message that they have received. Then, the affirmations at the bottom of the page help to guide the reader to greater understanding of the messages.

The messages can help support and empower others – empower women to learn and grow and understand themselves. And so… “Messages from the Divine Mother”

    • A DANDELION: A Story That Touches on the Sensitive Topic of “Flowerism” by Andrew Everstine

The inspiration for the book came from the author’s daughter, Ashli, who was three years old.
Ashli said to the author, “Tell me a story, Daddy.”
“Okay but you have to give me the title,” the author replied.
      “A Dandelion,” she said.
And a new universe of writing was born.

Sally Dandelion is a kind-hearted soul just trying to go through life. Not being invited to a party based on what kind of flower/weed you are is not fair. Everyone deserves to be treated fairly.

“A DANDELION” addresses racism in a kind way through flowers. It takes place in a make-believe flower town. Themes include being kind, being humble and reserving judgment.

Be careful who you judge because that flower/weed may one day save your life!
