Books On Air

Over two millennia ago, in troubled times not unlike our own, a mysterious figure, distinguished by a pheasant feather in his cap, emerged with poetic visions of a future world of peace and justice. Like Laozi, Pheasant Cap (Héguanzî) understood the underlying unity in things and the power of Dao to make things happen.

Facing the threat of conquest by the westerly state of Qin, he looked to a messiah-like figure, the Ninth Augustan, to inaugurate a new era according to the mandate of the god Grand Unity.

Here for the first time, we get an insider’s view of early Daoism as it influenced philosophy, its ideas of an interlinked cosmos, cyclical time, and the perceived role of the northern Dipper (Plough) constellation.

A rediscovered early Daoist cosmic philosophy, and the messianic Nine Augustans (Jiu-Huang) with their stars in the Northern Dipper, are in this epic bilingual translation.

There are many aspects to healing – healing the body, healing the mind and spirit, along with healing the world. Healing is multidimensional and involves our different levels of being, our human body and our eternal spirit within; resident in unconscious levels of our mind.

We see healing of spirit through life, and healing of body with many techniques, medical, surgical and spiritual. The spiritual healing process involves planes of spirit within levels of the mind both conscious and unconscious. In the unconscious-mind we find our relationship to the Divine, the power of the universe, called God by many. Our planet is also in need of Healing both by enhancing its regeneration and by refreshing its spirit.

In studying healing, we see who we are and what we are doing here in this life. It is the combination of medicine, science and philosophy unravelling the old spiritual mysteries held in trust by religions through time.

The book is a personal spiritual guide that walks with the readers to remove self-ignorance and realize higher self. It explains about pain and suffering, the blissful higher self and spiritual powers. In this book, the universe is called “existence.” The word existence is used because the universe exists within us and around us; the universe is omnipotent, omnipresent and omniscient.

Every human being has an innate light of consciousness. When people realize and connect with their conscious divine self, they gain wisdom, clairvoyance and spiritual intelligence. A deep, intimate relationship with existence gradually leads people to higher consciousness, self-realization, liberation and bliss.

Self-realization or realizing the oneness with existence becomes a challenge when one is buried in self-ignorance, and sandwiched between a restless and hectic life. The chapters aim to help readers overcome daily battles and lead them to self-knowledge, serenity and success. The book emphasizes the sacred role of meditations in awakening the light of consciousness. It offers three guided meditations for the readers. This book is a great spiritual companion for anyone with the courage and fervent will to dive into the ocean of cosmic consciousness.

The book is totally fiction, but should make you laugh as you imagine your brothers, cousins or local boys in the same situations that the boys in the book find them in. Although I don’t think you should try any of the techniques on a boy, as it would be terribly embarrassing for him.

The book starts with various sections, about controlling boys by various girly means – a how-to guide and also various suggestions of things to do with them, when under your control, before reading the stories themselves.

The main section contains about 12 stories, with boys of ages from 6 to 12 or so, but one story about male chauvinist Tom and his sweet young sister Pam permeates through the book intertwining the other stories with Tom being more and more embarrassed at what Pam makes him do.

God wants his disciples to spread his words and save souls. If they don’t want to listen, go to the next person that will listen. God will give his children the desire of their heart, just trust him and believe in him. God cares about what we go through, and he loves us so much.

Jesus said my people are destroyed by lack of knowledge. We got to believe in God, and trust him to do what he said he would do. God said the battle is not ours, the battle belongs to God. As you deal with older people treat them with respect. God let us go through trials to make us strong, and to build up our faith. Do not mock God, people. When you mock God people you are mocking God. God wants us to put him first in our lives. He does not want us to put idols before him. He is the only God. Jesus said don’t look for signs, and don’t spend time looking at other people. Look at Christ. When you follow Christ you will be persecuted.

Jesus said the world hated him, the world will hate you because you are my disciples. God coming will be swift and sudden. Do not fear, do not worry about tomorrow. Fear is the??? spirit. Do not judge others, treat others like you want to be treated. O my God do the judging. God can set you free to be the person he created you to be. God cannot be fooled by satan. Trouble falls on the just and unjust. Curiosity can cause us to stumble. We must commit ourselves to God, including our families, giving it all to God. God can use anyone to carry out his plan. To defeat Satan we need the Holy Spirit. We should pray for believers in Christ. Pray for the churches around the world.

Never think that you are too young or too old to be of service to God. Through Christ you have been given the gift of salvation. God does not cause people to sin. God’s word will stand forever. It is what you say and what you think that makes you unclean.
