It’s the burning question on everyone’s lips…. how did a rum distillery come to be in outback WA? I loved hearing the story of how old man ‘Spike’ took on the Governments recommendation for farmers to ‘diversify’ and so transformed his remote Kimberley farm into ‘The Hoochery’.

Years later the business is run by his daughter and granddaughter and their rum can be found in major liquor stores all across Australia.
