Welcome to Botched: A D&D Podcast! Last we left off, the group was jumping out of the way as an RPG was barreling towards their vehicle. Unfortunately, it seems like Porschia did not make it out in time, nor did almost any of the animals.
Mike Feaster is pinned down by suppressing fire, soon to be captured or murdered by the Houston Wreckers. But perhaps an unforeseen act of god will save him.
The rest of the group has to figure out where to go from there and escape from the Houston Wreckers, as well as their strangely debonair leader, The Duke.
Who is this Duke? How will Feaster survive? Will the group escape from the Duke? What happens to an armadillo when c4 explodes right next to it? Tune in and find out!

Welcome to Botched: A D&D Podcast! The group finally decides it’s time to get back to business and find that potential cure. The group decides that a divide and conquer approach is the best way into the city.
Feaster leads the way driving a box truck as if it were a race car. That goes about as well as you might imagine against a group of people with guns. Some amount of people make it into Houston though, so that’s something?
Once inside they’ll find aid in the strangest of places before making that final push to the Center for Drug Development.

Welcome to Botched: A D&D Podcast! God’s game is apparently golf. However, I don’t recall golf having packs of wild dogs chase you, or getting shot with an arrow if you bogey. I definitely don’t remember the part where if someone gets a hole in one, someone else gets shot.
Regardless, the party has to play this game or else they will not receive the antidote to the poison they were given. Aside from the random shot here or there, it seems like everyone is doing pretty well. Except William that is. He is having a very rough time.
On the bright side, they do seem to have quite the menagerie growing in terms of birds and what not. Good thing Charlie and Boof are pretty good at golf!
Who will make it out of this game alive? Will they complete the game before the poison kills them? How many more animals are they going to collect? Are there any other prizes for winning? How many times must William be shot? Tune in and find out!

Welcome to Botched: A D&D Podcast! That poor poor driver. Dissolved and eaten by a fungal monster. However, he did keep wounding Charlie by accident, so I guess that makes it okay?
The group now finds themselves surrounded by the Keepers of the Rot. But, running away does not seem to be an option. The cultists have poisoned the party! The only way they will receive the antidote is to play in “God’s Game.” Now the party has to muster all of their skills in order to survive.

December 27, 2021 The Keepers of the Rot
Welcome to Botched: A D&D Podcast! Not sure why, but this group is really obsessed with having animal companions, regardless of the type of animal. First a possum, then a slug, and now armadillos. Except, they haven’t even caught one of those yet. Instead, they’re being approached by a creepy mold cult.
The cult seems to say nothing at all, except their chanting of ooga chaka ooga ooga ooga chaka over and over. At least they’re not shooting bullets? However, I’m not sure multiple doses of ketamine is much better though.
This could have been avoided if the group didn’t feel the need to hunt for gators. They did manage to bag a couple. However, it was at the cost of seriously injuring Charlie numerous times, in the same leg. Who are these cultists? What do they want? What’s with the chanting? Why do these people know so much about the effects of drugs? Tune in and find out!

Welcome to Botched: A D&D Podcast! We are joined by our extra special guest Stephen from Horseshoes and Hand Grenades! He’ll be joining us tonight as the group’s expert driver.
After accepting a mission to find a cure to the fungal zompocalypse, the group suits up with a ton of goodies. On top of that, they’re given a vehicle to make the long trip even easier. Not only that, they are given a driver to aid them.
After leaving the almost certainly destroyed town, the group makes their way west towards Houston, Texas. However, long trips are really crappy without good snacks.
The group decides to make a pitstop in Louisiana, to look for a boat, and maybe some armadillos and gators. Who is this mysterious driver? How easy is it to murder gators in an apocalypse? What the hell is potted meat? Tune in and find out!

December 13, 2021 A Botched Sneaking Mooshin
Welcome to Botched: A D&D Podcast! Faced with the choice between crawling through William’s shit pipe or scoping out a seedy research facility, the group went with espionage. They found some pretty troubling stuff with all the research being done on the infected. However, that would be fairly normal in the post apocalypse. What is not normal is collecting an eyeball slug, putting it in a tube and deciding it's the next mayor of Boofington because Boof has separation anxiety.
Now, after the alarm has been triggered because they just left a dead body in plain sight within the bathroom, they have to figure a way out. But, this research facility seems to go down pretty far. Perhaps that is where the council is hiding. So, the group descends further trying their best to sneak around…in hazmat suits…with a saw arm.
What is lurking within the basement of this research facility? Will they manage to find the council without being found out? How are they going to fuck this all up? Why would rats and cicadas be making metal noises and all be within the same air vents? Tune in and find out!

Welcome to Botched: A D&D Podcast! It wouldn’t be a season of Botched without a good ol fashioned interrogation. Who knew they could be so violent? However, they can’t really linger on the information they’ve gathered as the town is being invaded by thousands of zombies, including mutations who can lob fungus like a mortar!
Based on the information gathered they could easily just escape, but they reaaaaally want to know what was in that box. To do that, they’re going to need to go to the source. The Council themselves.
The Council is housed within the old CDC building which is still running research. They’ll have to find a way in, and then figure out where the Council is. Not to mention, they have to find that damn box! What happens to people they torture? Why can you never trust a character that the Botched team plays? What are they researching in this facility? Will we continue to not mention any eye gore? Tune in and find out!
