Queensland and NSW warned of power outages as pressure on energy climbs. Bianca Stone from Sunrise explains that wholesale prices are skyrocketing around 12x the normal rate. Which meant that the Australian Energy Market Operator (AEMO) have put a cap on the power resulting in blackouts throughout the two states. The situation will be monitored throughout the week.
