Just how powerful is the algorithm which determines what videos TikTok users will see? In this episode we discuss the recent push for algorithm transparency and TikTok’s response. All of that to help answer the question: how does this algorithm impact us as Christians? How should Christians approach an app like TikTok for ourselves or our children with what we know about the algorithm? We look at two major areas of concern regarding the content pushed: CONSUMERISM and FAME, and what God’s word has to say about this.

A bonus episode to put a bow on our “No Porn November” Series. This episode is definitely one you SHOULD listen to with your kids! This is the audio from Kelly’s exegetical teaching assignment on Proverbs 7 for her Master’s class. There is also a video if you’d rather watch the 20-minute teaching.
By the way, I cannot recommend The Master’s University more highly!
Continuing in our “No Porn November” series this episode exposes the app and platform “OnlyFans” and its role in pornography and sex work. Kelly and Chelsea walk through a few testimonies from college girls on the platform and their reality in light of Scripture. OnlyFans highlights the movement towards desensitizing “sex work” in our culture, which explains why both TikTok and Twitter have announced they will begin allowing “Adult Content” on their platforms for a fee.
