This week, Tiffany is featured on K. Anderson's conversational podcast titled “Lost Spaces” where the host introduces various lost queer spaces from their guests past, what they got up to there, and how it helped to shape the person they’ve become.
The discussion begins with Tiffany’s move from the Philippines to Japan while coming out and eventually having the acceptance from her mother once getting to experience the world of Cabaret Shows.
During this discussion, Tiffany takes us down memory lane as a Hostess in Tokyo’s nightlife scene. We learn of the rules, expectations, and the kind of conversations that are had in such spaces. She shares other stories like her first time performing, the sisterhood vs competitiveness, nuances in Japanese culture, client and hostess relationships, and so on.
K. Andersons ends the podcast asking Tiffany if her old self was with them right now, what advice would she give young Tiffany? The response to her would be to trust in the process and have no fear. Even though the fear around having these vulnerable conversations still arise around parents, Tiffany still finds importance in boundaries from a place of understanding.

We dedicate this episode to the annual March 31st, International Transgender Day of Visibility in celebration of trans and non-binary people! The lively talk began with morning rituals about energies from the sun, intermittent fasting, running and marathons. Maki then shares her experience in beauty pageants, the change in attitude since the 80’s and how camaraderie between contestants seems to be decisive rather than a space to inspire and raise awareness. Maki hopes the organizers could revisit the purpose of beauty pageants.

For this episode we have MaryAnn Celis from the US, share with us her passion around Climate Change Education and Empowering the Youth.
The conversation begins with the positive energies from group meditation, and learn of MaryAnn’s international background as a Filipino-American, the lessons of appreciating nature from living in Japan and misconceptions of being a teacher. Moreover, she shares her honest thoughts about the COP19 and the dire reality of Climate Change. This week, Tiffany is featured on a fellow lifecoach’s podcast by the name, Jayne Nakata, from New Zealand and we delve into the topic of “transformation” which is a favorite conversation on the Breakfast With Tiffany Show as well.
Tiffany begins by introducing her upbringing and her original plan of going to the US, however 25 years later living in Japan as she felt it was safer and the more optional choice especially as a transgendered woman.
The talk continues to comment on the social and environmental comparison of New Zealand and the Philippines with Japan. This includes the main discussion around Tiffany’s vulnerability around her identity as a transwoman, her addiction to alcoholism, social relationships, and the extension of her career from nightlife expert to lifecoach, mainly for the LGBTQ+ community in health and wellness that consists of retreats. We also learn of the beginnings of the “Breakfast With Tiffany Show” podcast and the amazing experience and benefits it has been for Tiffany.
Finally, Tiffany recommends the book “A New Earth: Awakening to Your Life's Purpose by Eckhart Tolle” and shares a powerful passage that she enjoyed that reads;
“How you react to people in situations, especially when challenges arise, is the best indicator of how deeply you know yourself”.
~~
We love your reviews and thank our reviewer of the day for leaving the comment;
“Inspirational and relevant. I discovered and learnt a lot through those podcasts. Thank you for sharing those beautiful stories. And thank you for the positivity“.
It is a delight to find such feedback and would love to keep bringing in the uplifting energy on our podcast.
