He will tackle pressing issues, including the alarming violent arrest of a Black woman for allegedly jaywalking in San Francisco. Before Dr. Taylor, we have the privilege of hearing from the 2025 Pulitzer Prize-winning author Dr. Edda Fields-Black, who will shed light on her remarkable book about Harriet Tubman's invaluable Civil War service and the pivotal Combahee River Raid. Kicking off our lineup, The founder of The Black Lawyers for Justice, attorney Malik Shabazz, will share his insights and perspectives.
