The Miami Hurricanes did not move up in the College Football Playoff rankings despite closing out their season with a dominant 38-7 win at Pitt. The Hurricanes remain two spots behind Notre Dame despite the head to head victory. Meanwhile, the committee moved Alabama up a spot for no apparent reason, setting up the Crimson Tide to remain in the field even if they lose to Georgia in the SEC Championship.
