This is a helpline for athletes, coaches, family members, and others who are involved in youth sports and have concerns regarding athlete safety and emotional, physical, and sexual abuse.  The Courage First Athlete Helpline has specialized counselors that offer confidential support through calls, text, and online chat. We are grateful to have former U.S National Champion Vanessa Atler on the show to provide her perspective as a former elite athlete on why this resource is so important, as well as Cathy Beach who is the program coordinator for the helpline.
