The Colorado Buffalos football program hasn't been anything to write home about during its stay within the PAC-12 conference, but that doesn't mean they consistently roll over for their competition. Just ask the Texas A&M Aggies football program a year ago how tough the Buffs can make games on you. The storyline should remain relatively similar for Colorado in 2022 after watching 22 key players transfer out of the program last winter thanks to the beloved NCAA Transfer Portal. The Buffalos do have some intriguing young talent to get excited over, including quarterback Brendon Lewis. Lewis may have shown he needs a lot of work to grow, but he also displayed some awesome play-making ability that should give the fans down in Boulder, Colorado some inspiration on offense. Defensively, Colorado will be tasked with incorporating an extremely young secondary, but they seem to like the youngsters available to them.
