Brian D. Smith is a certified life coach, a grief partner, and a small business consultant. He became what he calls “well acquainted with grief” in 2015, after the sudden passing of his younger daughter, fifteen-year-old Shayna. He wanted to stop living, but he had to learn to survive for the sake of his wife and their older daughter. Out of necessity, Brian dove deep into studying the nature of life, death, and how to survive grief, and now he uses all that he has learned to help others.
