If you're new to meditation and struggling a little here are my top tips for helping you to get started. The first 5 minutes are the tips and after that is an exercise you can follow along with if you need the help, otherwise give it a go yourself.

This is a little different to my usual meditations and is instead just a sound track with some words to help you get started on something you might be a little hesitant to get going on. The words help you create the kind of thoughts you can start to have when embarking on a new, scary but exciting, path.
This is a meditation I started doing a long time ago and it helps me all the time in so many conscious situations, I don't need to enter a meditation to get the benefits of the exercise. Once you've done it a few times you can go through the steps in less than a minute to help reduce anxiety or stress or just to help you go into a situation with a positive mindframe.

I started doing this meditation a long time ago and I still use this technique in my waking and conscious life often to cope with anxiety, negative thoughts and going into any situation that makes me nervous. Once you've done it a few times you'll be able to follow the same steps and less than a minute to calm your nerves and feel open and positive towards the person or situation you're encountering.
