The Statue of Liberty is one of the most (if not THE most) famous monuments in the world. Anyone visiting New York City can see her, but not everyone knows that Lady Liberty has her own secrets. One of them is – she might not even be a lady at all!

This infamous loosely designated area between Florida, Puerto Rico, and the Bermudas is any captain’s and pilot’s nightmare. Many disappeared aircraft, ships, and cruise liners were attributed to this mysterious zone. They say the main reason why the Bermuda Triangle is so enigmatic must be the magnetic fields that form this ominous triangle.

The thing is that the ocean floor is made of rocks containing a lot of magnetites. It’s more like iron. Magnetic fields react to the high concentration of magnetite on the ocean floor, which may start a sort of conflict between the two. It was the very beginning of the year 1912. A giant chunk of ice broke off a glacier in southwest Greenland. It was a huge thing - more than 1,700 ft long, it weighed around 75 million tons! Btw, out of 15,000 to 30,000 icebergs that drift away from Greenland’s glaciers, only 1% ever makes it all the way to the Atlantic. That's why it's so amazing that in April that the iceberg that sank the Titanic was already more than 1,500 miles away from the Arctic Circle!

Several days before our iceberg made it to the Atlantic Ocean, a magnificent ship left port. It was Titanic. Meanwhile, the iceberg was approaching the area the Titanic was going to cross on its way to New York. It happened on April, 14 when the ship was in the North Atlantic Ocean. At about 11.40 PM, people who were still awake on board the Titanic toppled down, pushed over by some mysterious and powerful force. We al know what was that. The Hubble Telescope orbits our planet, looking out at the big unknown universe. Since it’s out of our atmosphere, the Hubble can see way further than telescopes on land. No clouds up there. This guy helped us confirm the theory about supermassive black holes in the centers of galaxies. It also discovered a whole bunch of new galaxies, including the world's oldest one, which is about 8 billion years older than our Milky Way!

But let’s travel 25 light-years away to another special star. Fomalhaut. It's almost twice as big and heavy as the Sun. If you look at it from far away, you can see a bright yellow disk around it. Have you ever inhaled helium out of a balloon? We’ve all done it at least once in our lifetime.
