Brittani Coury is a member of the US National Team as a Paralympic Snowboarder. In 2018 she competed at the Pyeonchang Paralympic Games and took home her first silver medal for banked slalom.
She found her passion for the sport of snowboarding at 13, but her journey was often plagued with obstacles. At a young age, she started to experience injury after injury. Faced with the looming possibility of having to give up what she loved, Brittani decided to amputate her leg below the knee in 2011. She saw only the beginning of a new life.
