Today, Ali is talking to her good friend Regina Townsend, a librarian, an infertility warrior and the founder of  Broken Brown Egg, a blog she started in 2009 was because she wanted to break silence around infertility and women of color. Today, Broken Brown Egg has grown exponentially, existing to "empower, inform, and advocate for those questioning or experiencing the impact of infertility, with an emphasis on the Black experience of it." As Regina always says, Infertility is bigger than babies—and today we're talking about all of it, including how, after years of TTC and heartbreak, including a disrupted adoption and a lot of other things, Regina and her husband Jahbari welcomed their gorgeous son, Judah.We also talk about how Target can be a real asshole, why, when you don't end up in jail, you've had a good day, and how growing up in the public schools of Chicago shaped our versions of being women and our knowledge of our reproductive systems.
