The Browns were one of the teams that had been linked to acquiring Falcons backup quarterback Kirk Cousins, as they were of the last teams to fill the remaining gap at the quarterback position. Now, the only team left without a “starting quarterback” on the roster is the Pittsburgh Steelers, who according to sources, is in talks with former Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers. It makes more sense for the Falcons financially to try to move Kirk Cousins after June 4, as the team acquiring him would be required to take on more of his salary, but we could very well see him moved during the NFL draft coming in 2 weeks. Or, the Falcons could very well stick to what everyone is being told, and enter the 2025 season with Kirk Cousins as the backup quarterback. Abe Gordon and Beau Morgan discuss the Falcons moves, or lack thereof, that they may make before the start of the 2025 NFL season.
