Will offensive coordinator/quarterbacks coach Ryan Day have a big impact on Ohio State's offense in 2018?
And is it surprising that Day has seemingly passed Kevin Wilson on the totem pole?
Patrick Murphy joins Dave Biddle for opinions on that, plus:
* What is our confidence level in Tate Martell if he is needed to be the Buckeyes' quarterback this season?
* What about Matthew Baldwin?
All of that and more on the Friday extravaganza.
What is the latest on the top targets for Ohio State in the 2019 recruiting class?
247Sports director of recruiting, Steve Wiltfong, drops by for his usual visit, and explains whether the following prospects are "in, out or foggy" as it pertains to Ohio State right now:
* Zach Harrison
* Darnell Wright
* Marcus Washington
* Jameson Williams
* Tyler Davis
* Trevor Keegan
* David Bell
* Milton Wright
* Jonathan Allen
* Cormontae Hamilton
Wiltfong gives his prediction on all of those recruits and more on this quick-hitting version of the Bucknuts Morning 5.
We have no doubt at Bucknuts that a daily Big Ten football call-in show on Big Ten Network (yes, taking a page out of Paul Finebaum's book on the SEC Network) would do very well.
The question is whether BTN would ever take up such a venture.
The People's Champ, Matt Baxendell, joins Dave Biddle for an in-depth discussion about that, plus:
* What is a bigger concern for Ohio State entering the 2018 season: Offensive line, or linebackers?
* Will Tuf Borland actually play this season? If so, how effective will he be?
* Bucknuts readers don't seem worried about Michigan's recruiting efforts in Ohio. But are Buckeye fans ignoring history?
All of that and more on the midweek spectacular.
If you're on Bucknuts, you're likely a fan of the "Bucknuts Morning 5", our daily radio show/podcast that talks all things Ohio State football, basketball, recruiting, and more. You're also probably familiar with the "Bucknuts Roundtable" during the season, where our experts share opinions on the upcoming game and other relative topics.
After getting a lot of requests to do the Roundtable in podcast format, and seeing the great success of the BM5, we thought it would be a great idea to kind of mash the two together, with a focus on recruiting. Thus, the creation of "Bucknuts Recruiting Radio".

This is the third episode of BRR, a podcast that will hopefully become a mainstay here on Bucknuts. The goal of the show is to bring on Bucknuts experts, national and other team experts, other media members, recruits, coaches, and more, who can shed some light into the big storylines around Ohio State's recruiting efforts. It's going to be a longer form show that could be roundtable or interview format, and should be highly entertaining for the recruitniks out there.
The previous episode of BRR featured Ohio State commitment Garrett Wilson sharing all. This next episode welcomes another commit, OL Harry Miller, who touches on a number of different topics:
*What led him to picking Ohio State over Stanford, Notre Dame, Clemson, and Georgia?
*How the Buckeyes coaches plan on using him
*The status of his mission work in Nicaragua
*A look back on his experience at The Opening Finals and who he was recruiting to OSU while in Texas
*His long-time relationship with fellow commit Steele Chambers
All of that and more on the third episode of Bucknuts Recruiting Radio!
What is up with the budding St. Louis-to-Ohio State pipeline? And is Cleveland Glenville jealous?
Jonah Booker joins Dave Biddle for his usual Friday visit to tackle the former topic, but not the latter.
Ezekiel Elliott is of course originally from the St. Louis area, and he became a household name across the country while at OSU.
Then in the Buckeyes' 2018 recruiting class, they landed a pair of promising wide receivers from St. Louis: Kamryn Babb and Cameron Brown.
And looking at 2019 recruiting, two of the top WRs in the country -- Jameson Williams and Marcus Washington -- both greatly favor Ohio State, according to the Crystal Ball predictions.
Do Buckeye fans have Zeke to thank for the fact that so many highly-ranked St. Lou prospects are looking closely at OSU? JBook answers that.
Also on the docket:
* The latest on Jack Miller, Zach Harrison, Tyler Davis and Darnell Wright on this recruiting-themed edition of the Friday extravaganza.
Ohio State was always a legit presence at The Opening at Nike HQ in Beaverton, Ore.
The event has moved to Dallas this year. Expect Ohio State to maintain its legit presence.
From Garrett Wilson to Darnell Wright there are names aplenty ticketed for the annual talent show.
247Sports Director of Recruiting Steve Wiltfong will be there.
Today, he's here to tell you what to expect at The Opening.

This is the second episode of BRR, a podcast that will hopefully become a mainstay here on Bucknuts.
The first episode of BRR featured Bucknuts/247Sports' Bill Greene and Duane Long, and focused on the biggest OSU recruiting event of the year, Friday Night Lights. This second episode welcomes Ohio State commit WR Garrett Wilson, who touches on a number of different topics:
*Why did he pick Ohio State over Texas....and how did Tom Herman take the news?
*What other players is he trying to recruit to Columbus with him?
*Is Buckeyes freshman QB Matthew Baldwin the real deal?
* How does he have fun outside of football?
All of that and more on the second episode of Bucknuts Recruiting Radio!
Jim Harbaugh didn't quite ignore recruiting the state of Ohio during his first three seasons as Michigan's head coach, but he came pretty darn close. Especially considering the fact that recruiting the Buckeye State was the lifeblood of the Wolverines' program for years.
The People's Champ, Matt Baxendell, joins Dave Biddle to discuss Harbaugh's recruiting efforts in Ohio, including the quality of the players he's recruiting, and whether Ohio State should be a little nervous.
Also on the docket:
* Thoughts on our newest feature on this site, Bucknuts Brackets. We ranked the best players of the Urban Meyer era at OSU from 1-32, and now readers of the site are going to vote to see who is the best Buckeye since Meyer took the reins.
* Thoughts on 2020 quarterback prospect Jack Miller, who could commit to Ohio State as early as this weekend.
* And what are opinions on the Buckeyes' 2019 QB commit, Dwan Mathis?
* What do fans need to know about OSU football tickets going on sale to the public this Friday?
All of that and more on the midweek spectacular.
It's Tuesday here on the BM5. That means another appearance from your friendly neighborhood football guru: Duane Long.
Those of you that frequent Bucknuts know Duane well. And you know he has a thing for offensive linemen. Here's the thing: Duane wants Ohio State to recruit tackles. Why? Tackles can be a tackle ... guard ... or center.
So with Ohio State short on tackles, you can imagine what Duane is thinking. But you won't have to. He's going to tell you.
Duane also chimes in on:
* Dwan Mathis ending the quarterback derby ...
* Erick All leaving Ohio for Khaki pants ...
* Devontae Dobbs not leaving the state of Michigan for college ...
* Is Ohio State crafting a historic wide receiver haul?

Friday Night Lights wrapped up three evenings ago -- we're told -- and we have a lot of recruiting insights to pass along on today's show.
Of course Ohio State landed its 2019 quarterback recruit on Sunday, former Michigan State commit Dwan Mathis. But what is next on the recruiting trail for OSU?
Bill "Bank" Greene joins Dave Biddle to discuss the following:
* Is 2020 QB Jack Miller a near lock to commit to the Buckeyes?
* What is the latest on top 2019 prospects Jordan Battle and Zach Harrison?
All of that and more on the Monday extravaganza.
