Our guest is the CEO of a new company working on building an integrated portfolio of cannabis retail dispensaries, cultivation facilities, offering iconic, inspiring hand-crafted cannabis brands, delivered in an unsurpassed retail experience. When we look at cannabis becoming a global emerging commoditized market in the future, we actually took a step back. As opposed to taking a traditional MSO approach – which everyone else has done, and I think it’s very overworked – we needed to really look at what the big picture is…and the big picture, if you really want to be a player, is global positioning. You can’t really compete unless you have equal footing. Brian recently received all necessary licenses required to begin the construction of a cannabis camp in Adelanto, California. This base camp will significantly enhance Ikänik’s ability to serve key verticals such as cultivation, extraction, and distribution in California’s multi-billion-dollar legal cannabis market. The Company expects to complete Phase I of Base Camp’s construction by January 2020. We talk about this project and what kind of production does he hope to accomplish plus much more.
