Childs Farm is a brand I know well, thanks to one of my children using a whole lot of it when he was small, but I didn't know all about the lady behind the brand until we chatted for this week's podcast- and what a lady she is!
Joanna Jensen started her Childs Farm journey in response to her own daughter's need for something that helped her skin but also smelt nice and made bath times fun. As her business grew, so did Joanna's desire to give back, and one of Joanna's outlets was RDA and supporting this incredible charity through her work with her brand.
Then a meeting at a dinner with the legend that is Natasha Baker gave Joanna the chance to take a different role in equestrian sport, through becoming a part owner of Natasha's Lottie aka Keystone Dawn Chorus. This duo went on to compete in the Paralympic Games in Tokyo... well, she actually took two silvers individually and team gold, but who's counting?!
Joanna talks about how she grew and sold a majority share in her business, what she's doing now, a special event next year, and what it's been like to be involved with the RDA and para dressage at the highest level. It's a lovely one to listen to.
