PRIORITY Q&A

Speed Weed

Given the recent discussion of a Worlds Collide scenario between Mario and Sonic, how would you feel about a Metroid-Sonic crossover?

Diane W

Sally Acorn and Amy Rose are the perfect BFFs. Do you agree or disagree?

Scurvy Piratehog (KoFi)

So, I'm curious...how different are Pre-reboot and post-reboot Snively from each other? Personality wise, opinions on Eggman, ETC ETC ETC ETC.

Digamma

What are the production lead times for various states of production (writing, art, colors, letters, 100% finish) for Tales of Aether compared to your average industry comic?

King Toasty (KoFi)

If you could both choose a single villain to join (or rejoin) the games as a reoccurring character, who would it be?

RedScarfUK

Ian and Kyle, what do you think were the highlights (and lowlights) of the first Sonic Central presentation?

N'Oni

Why didn't Eggman just ask one of the roboticized knothole residents where Knothole was?

Andrew D.

How do you decide how/when to kill off a character?

AfroLuffyX

As far as I remember you said that scourge is a coward at heart and he wants justification for his actions can you elaborate on the idea of scourges character

TK

Were there ever any plans to pair Tails up with someone who likes him back after Fiona? Or was love just never in the cards for foxboy?

BlueTidalGamer

To both of you. If you could only take one book with you on a deserted island, what genre of book would it be to help you cope with being deserted?

Scruffymatt

So Ian, when is the Sonic commercial starring you going to be released? Is it today? It's gonna be today, right? :D

AWF

For Ian and Kyle: How have y'all been lately? No one ever seems to ask.

STANDARD Q&A

Tik Tik

What exactly does the Master Emerald do?

Dove

What would you say is the reason [Mega Man didnt hold on to abilities]? Also, with his advanced systems, why wouldn't X be able to keep them?

PC-The-Unicorn

Ian, exactly how much free will does Metal Sonic have in the IDW Continuity?

PRIORITY Q&A

Scurvy Piratehog (KoFi)

If Modern Eggman, Boom Eggman, Jim Carrey's Robotnik and Satam Robotnik went into inter-dimensional war against each other...how would it go, and who would be victorious? Who would win "The War of the Eggmen"?

RedScarfUK

follow-up to Scurvy Piratehog:

So, now we know which Eggman/Robotnik would win (maybe), here's another one: Mama Robotnik vs Mombot, who would win?

Speed Weed

Alright this is another question that's that's pushed into the forefront of my brain: If Sonic had a hobbies, would it involve tagging Eggman monorails with rad, totally-not-Jet Set Radio-tier street art?

TerravancerYoh (KoFi)

During your entire career writing the Sonic Comics have you had any notable "Eureka" moments that you could speak of, along with any favorite call backs or ties of continuity that you were able to pull together?

Diane W.

What was the best Pokémon team you ever had from every last entry in the main series?

Digamma

Why is the (hopefully first) Tales of Aether miniseries about Clarien? Was it your idea or Dan's?

The Shadow Emperor (KoFi)

Ultra Serious Question: What would happen if someone pressed the Monkey Destruction Switch next to Monkey Khan? (If you don't remember what that is, it's a one-off item Knuckles uses to destroy a Kiki gatekeeper in SA1.)

AWF

Ever played the Mass Effect games? If not, play them. If so, what did you think? Favorite class? Favorite character? Favorite romantic pairing?

Hero of Light 13

Just how old is Sonic supposed to be these days?

Andrew D.

To what extent do you stay away from fan material? Do you try to stay away from fan characters as well? What happens if you accidentally view something you’re not supposed to?

Scruffymatt

Who is the best robotic Sonic doppleganger that is not Metal Sonic?

STANDARD Q&A

maybetoby

what was the point in the Freedom Fighters getting their pre-reboot memories back if the memories were just going to fade over time?

Adam

There are a lot of moral dilemmas in the metal virus saga,

PRIORITY Q&A

Scurvy Piratehog (KoFi)

When they had the license, Archie Comics published comics based on the Sonic TV Shows, like Sonic X and Sonic Boom. And considering that IDW has published comics based on the different TMNT shows...what are the chances we could possibly see a "Sonic Prime" Comic series from IDW?

PC-The-Unicorn

Ian, are you always surprised when a Sonic ship either gets a spike in popularity or becomes popular due to how you write the two interacting, or have you gotten to a point to expect it? I recall you mentioning being surprised by how popular Tangle x Whisper got, but were you also surprised by similar instances such as Knuxamy due to the Shattered Arc, Tails x Honey from the Champions arc, and Shadaze due to Sonic Universe #1 and the Treasure Team Tango arc?

TheHoboJoe!!!

Ian, you said that Jeff Smith's Bone was a big inspiration/reference for you. Bone is genuinely one of if not my favorite published works and I'd love to hear you two just talk about it. Do you have any experience with it Kyle? Do you have a favorite volume? (Great Cow Race is Near perfect in my eyes). As beloved as it is, I don't hear a ton of talk about Bone and I'd like to hear your perspective (And what are your thoughts on quiche?)

Diane W.

Would Shadow listen to modern rock...?

AWF

You [have[ the ability to turn any one video game franchise of your choosing into a comic, movie, or television series. Which game do you choose?

SonAmy Channel (KoFi)

Why is it that Amy can't do spin dashes like Cream & the others?

Digamma

What's it like being assistant editor on Tales of Aether?

Andrew D.

Let’s pretend you were given the ok to write a crossover between IDW Sonic and Archie Sonic. How would you handle this?

Speed Weed

How much of a horror story would you get out of the SA-X being thrown into Sonic's world, given what the SA-X represents in Metroid: Fusion?

MikeB

Why do some people (including ourselfs) care very deeply to have their innermost (or profoundly public) ideas about the blue blur... put out for mass media consumption?
