The Bums start the first half of S2:E0058 (not E0059) morosely and sans our catchy Intro/Outro — out of respect for the preventable and horrific events surrounding the mass-shooting in Uvalde, TX (and others since)— more on common sense gun reform in Part 2; racist POS and N.Y. Yankee Josh Donaldson has an affinity for calling Tim Anderson “Jackie”; White Sox shot caller and baseball wizard Stone Pony take a summer break; Cubs rookie Christopher “Shroom” Morel earns himself a team record (that is going strong now at 17 games); an unbelieveable stat shared by 3 unlikely MLB players (Suzuki Ichiro/Greg Maddox/Ty Cobb); Predicto makes an unplanned appearance, bringing his precognition around the NBA Finals; NFL booth duty rumors surrounding Greg Olsen and TB12; RIP to former NFL RB and Cowboy/Bear Marian Barber; Dwayne Haskins bloodwork came back and it ain’t good; discussion around the inevitable deprecation of the NFL’s hapless Pro Bowl; and close Part 1 a fan request from AZ is fulfilled with chatter around the Diamondback’s Summer Pass and small market teams.
The second half triple clicks on the topic of Rocky’s responsible Common Sense Gun reform reverse manifesto; strap in folks — we dig in deep here; the the Bums bid farewell to Goodfellas actor Ray Liotta (sad emoji face), and close with a salute to honorary Bum Arizona Sam for his dedication and loyalty.
