The BYU Cougars are working on a replacement for new Kentucky Wildcats coach Mark Pope and Jake Hatch explains where things stand from his perspective after a weekend of conversations with sources and it appears that Utah Utes associate head coach Chris Burgess is in hte lead for the job and time is of the essence for BYU basketball to get the hire completed.

Jake then talked about the state of the BYU men's basketball roster with Dallin Hall, Aly Khalifa and Richie Saunders all entering the NCAA Transfer Portal and the hopes are that they all will return to Brigham Young University (BYU) with a note to not hold anything against any of the members of the BYU hoops community as they are doing what's in their best interest.

Finally, the show wrapped up with notes on the BYU women's basketball program landing two transfer portal committments, former BYU football quarterback Sol-Jay Maiava-Peters committing to Bronco Mendenhall and the New Mexico Lobos along with updates on the weekend results for the BYU baseball, softball and men's volleyball programs.
