On this week's episode, Chris Blair sits down with one of his good friends, Cameron Bedell. Cameron came to Nashville from Wichita, Kansas to attend Belmont University. He grew up surrounded by music with experience singing in show choirs and barbershop quartets. You'll hear about how he started his career after graduating working at a restaurant serving hit songwriters and country artists, where some of those relationships led to him signing his publishing deal with Liz Rose Music four years later.

You'll hear the story and meaning of the #1 song "Down Home" that he wrote for Jimmie Allen and how culture was a big influence for that song. He also touches on his experience working as a producer for Tiera Kennedy, a song he wrote for Hailey Whitters and many ways he stays busy and connected to the music industry.
