The Big 12 Conference has plenty of talent for the upcoming football season and Arizona State Sun Devils football will have its work cut out for it in trying to make a splash from day one. The Sun Devils are coming off consecutive three-win seasons, but the difference from 2022 to 2023 was staggering under Kenny Dillingham. A move from the PAC-12 Conference to the Big 12 Conference could pay massive dividends for the Sun Devils but year one won't be easy. The preseason media polls had the Sun Devils in last place of the conference and the disrespect rightfully stirred up fans. They weren't the only program dealing with such, as the Houston Cougars football program was also picked to finish one spot ahead of Arizona State at 15.
