Former civil servant, John Lamerton, quit his job to start an internet marketing business, despite not knowing anything about running a company, marketing and didn’t even own a computer! 

Armed with a copy of "Internet Marketing for Dummies" and his girlfriend's parent's computer, John worked hard, made a lot of mistakes, and a little money (just £13.51 in his first nine months!).
