What a wild week in sports, and the boys are back in the studio to break it all down. We brought up the "Chiefs Panic Meter" on last week's episode, but after a thorough butt-kicking at home by the Bills, is the meter moving towards "full on panic"?
Also, Tyler had a TOUGH weekend as the Jets lost in London and Penn State lost their quarterback (and the game), while Ohio State and Georgia kept rolling along. Is it time that the card market starts to put some respect on Lamar Jackson's name after an all-time second half performance on Monday Night Football? Was Ryan wrong when he said that Jalen Hurts "stinks"?

The boys are back after a big week of sports that featured Penn State, Georgia and Ohio State going 3-0, a Jets win, Zach Wilson and Mac Jones looking good, and Urban Meyer getting himself in to some hot water (much to the delight of Tyler of Lou).
Also, Ryan picked up an entire PSA graded set of 1952 Topps baseball over the weekend, we look in to the NBA market as they get set to tip off their season, the Arizona Cardinals look unbelievable with Kyler playing at an MVP level, and we may have just entered the best sports month of the year.

Ryan's back for a full episode, just in time to break down his Patriots dominating win over Tyler and Lou's Jets on Sunday. Lou had quite a bit to say about why he thinks the result should be under protest and the game's results washed from the record.
Also, Tyler's Penn State Nittany Lions are now ranked #6 in the country after their big win vs. Auburn in front of their home white-out crowd. Cristiano Ronaldo is dominating for Manchester United. There were some huge record-breaking sales of graded comics, video games and Pokemon cards as the latest Goldin Auction closed. Basketball is almost back and baseball is deep in the pennant race.

Ryan is in the building live from the Industry Summit in Las Vegas, but only for about half of the show, so Tyler and Lou attempt to keep the train on the tracks without him!
On Saturday in college football, Oregon dealt the Ohio State Buckeyes their first loss (rumor has it that this is the reason for Ryan's abbreviated attendance in the recording), while the NFL kicked off their season in style with some wildly entertaining games across the board.
Also, US Open tennis was unbelievable, there was another amazing F1 race to discuss, and this may have been the best Play of the Week of all time (even without Ry).

The boys are back from a nice, relaxing Labor Day Weekend and all three of their college teams (Ohio State, Penn State & Georgia) had big wins to kick off the 2021 season, so they brought some energy to the studio!
Lou had a big sports gambling weekend down in Cape May. Tyler was locked in on Penn State and the US Men's Soccer Team. Ryan is still heavily intrigued by the white hot F1 market, and wondering if a pullback is coming soon.

What a wild week it's been, and the boys are back in the studio to talk all about the Fanatics takeover of the MLB and NBA licenses starting in 2026. They give their thoughts on what they think it means for the future of sports cards and whether or not it will be a good thing overall for the hobby.
In addition, Ryan and Lou make a BIG football bet as the 2021 season is set to kick off in just three short weeks. Our followers came STRONG with a FIRE Play of the Week segment, and Ryan tells you all the latest launches.

Fanatics has acquired the league rights to produce sports cards for MLB and the NBA, as well as agreements with MLBPA, NBAPA and NFLPA, completely changing the sports cards hobby overnight. The guys called an emergency Instagram Live to break down what it all means!

The boys are BACK and have a lot on their mind, making the "what's on your mind" part of the show run on for almost 25 minutes (and it isn't all Tyler's fault this time!) A lot has happened since we were last in the studio, including the Honus Wagner T206 record breaking sale and some eye-popping eBay data about the current state of the hobby!
In addition, Ryan has a lot to say about investing in quarterbacks and why he thinks now might be a good time to sell and take some profits off the table. Everybody's favorite segment "Play of the Week" is back STRONG this week, with some verrrry interesting plays from our followers.
