Global warming is a problem that needs to be addressed both from the systemic change and the individual lifestyle transformation perspectives. The climate crisis cannot be expected to solve itself, and politicians can never be trusted to make the first step. This is why climate activists need to push stakeholders, including themselves, into action. And all of that starts with recognizing the problem and committing to a drastic lifestyle change. That’s how Matt Schlegel strongly feels about the climate change issue. Best known for creating the Enneagram tool and authoring Teamwork 9.0, Matt believes that people can weaponize their different interests, skills and talents in the fight against climate change. Tune in as he explains how the Enneagram can be used as a problem-solving tool in this fight, how initiatives like #FridaysForFuture can help push change locally and globally, and how we can all do our part in so many different ways.

Fossil fuels like oil, gas, and coal are the reason for floods, fires, storms, and heat waves. The government knows that this needs to be dealt with, and yet oil and gas companies are making record profits right now. People need to stand together and make their message heard. They need to start taking action by joining climate change groups. You don’t need to buy a Tesla to be a part of the movement. There is still hope if everyone acts together. Join Corinna Bellizzi as she talks to environmental activist Tzeporah Berman about the dangers of fossil fuels and what you can do about them. Learn why people need to stand up together so government officials can start listening. Have hope, and the climate will change for the better.

Protecting the environment requires more extensive systemic changes if we want to see a tangible impact on the current climate crisis. Joining us today to explain how we can achieve that is Maya K. van Rossum, author of The Green Amendment: The People's Fight For a Clean, Safe & Healthy Environment. Maya is also the Founder of Green Amendments For the Generations, a grassroots non-profit inspiring constitutional recognition and protection of environmental rights in every state and ultimately at the federal level. She chats with host Corinna Bellizzi to discuss why we need these constitutional changes prioritized to help mitigate and solve the threats against our environment. The current policies benefit corporations that contribute to massive environmental destruction, and it's up to the people to demand better. Listen to this episode to learn more about what they're doing and what you can do for your state, the country, and the world as we know it.
