What if 90% of arguments could be avoided? Okay, so how do we do this? Carolyn and I see things differently, however we usually have the same end goal in mind. So how do we both arrive there together without having a huge blowout?
We still have moments (like just the other day) where we simply have to walk away to gather our thoughts or feelings and come back into the conversation fresh. Has this happened to you? How do you handle it?
Join us as we share our hot conversations and how we de-escalate situations before they blow up in our faces.
Communication in our relationship is one of the most foundational aspects we share. Some times our communication is nagging, directing or just talking at the person we share life with. Other times we think we already know what the other person is going to say so we might make assumptions, not listen, or become resistant. Sonia and I are choosing to revisit communication because we started to notice that as we both are growing our communication was running into issues.
Our invitation this season is to step into communication from your langue of love. As always we are so excited to share what we figured out in our relationship with each of you and we welcome you to share as well.

One of many definitions found just by searching Google:
"Being vulnerable in a relationship is letting your guard down to connect in a raw and open manner," Sommerfieldt notes. "It means putting your heart on the line, even if that means heartache." https://www.womenshealing.com June 9, 2021
What if there were an easier way to allow yourself to be vulnerable?
What if being vulnerable shows yourself and others who you are and be absolutely good with that!
So, how do we get here? It has to start with you first then everything else will fall in place. Do we really care about what other people think about us? And if so, WHY?
Today, I stand here liberated from other people's opinion about me because what matters is ME and how I see myself. We are all beautiful and unique. No one else in this world can be YOU!
Carolyn and I talk about what it feels like to be vulnerable with each other and in other spaces in our life. It is our greatest hope that you get everything you need from this conversation.
Its okay to be YOU. We promise!
What do we know about Menopause? Well, we know from experience that life certainly doesn't have to end. Yes, we say that now that we are on the otherside of things; not in the clear just yet.
First of all let us say we empathize with ALL women who have, are and will be going through menopause because its REAL!
However, after years of feeling out of control we have come to understand how to live with the changes our bodies have gone through and still learning how to deal with certain things.
In this episode we disclose personal experiences about going through menopause and how we can still live a very normal life. This includes being sexual! So get ready to listen in how we deal with menopause and dropping the stigma surrounding this cycle of life.
Stay Cool,
Sonia and Carolyn
Are you making time to spend quality time with your spouse/Partner? This was something that Sonia and I had to explore for our own relationship. What we discovered was that even though we have been spending time together over the span of our 20 years together, not all of that time was quality time spent to connect with each other. Join us as we talk about what quality time means in our relations, how we started to date each other again without expectations or pressure. These conversations are an invitation for you to create the connection you want your relationship. They are an invitation to connect where you are right now. One thing that Sonia and I believe for our relationship is that we get to create the most loving, passionate, sensual, and exciting relationship together. We are opening up our conversation and welcoming you to do the same thing in your relationship.

How many times do you find yourself wanting something and couldn't get yourself to ask for it?
Sometimes we think that asking for what we want puts too much demand on others. Or is it really that we don't believe we are worthy?
The truth is that we all deserve whatever it is we want?
Join Carolyn and I, as we discuss why we ALL deserve to have exactly what we ask for.
All bodies are beautiful.
Why is body image so important to us? And why do we place so much importance on it? And most importantly, what hindrances does body image cause in our lives? Let's take a look and see if we can help get a better understanding on body image and how it affects us in so many ways.
Carolyn has much to share on this very subject. She shows up vulnerable and passionate when it comes to talking about body image. Just recently she experienced a huge shift in this area of her life that has changed her mentally and physically. She explains that when we let go of self judgment and the need to hold a certain body image our body actually starts to shift and shred in its most natural state.
Tune in to hear Carolyn in her most raw self and know that she is showing up because she wants to support those going through the same situations. There's always a beautiful light at the end of the tunnel!
Love and gratitude,
Sonia & Carolyn
I'm not judging you please do not judge me!
If we judge others then expect to be judged. What would it take not to judge period? In this episode we talk about being judged and also judging others without being aware. Being aware of our actions is the key here. Besides all that, we often judge ourselves most harshly than others judge us. Why is that? And why do we accept self judgment over other people's judgment of us?
Take a listen to what we uncover about judging ourselves and where that comes from. Leave a comment or email us about how you judge yourself or others. We are here to support, listen and have conversations to get us all moving in the direction that is best suited for us all.
Until our next episode please be kind to yourselves and to those around you everywhere you are.
Much Love,
Sonia & Carolyn
