Catholic in a Small Town

It's a short show about the arrival of the newest Barron boy.  Lock up your daughters, folks!

No yet, last Friday was sort of unplugged, we recommend Horton Hears  Who, don't know if we can recommend The Shack, and talk about almsgiving in the Lenten season.

Homebirth on the horizon, Man on Wire, and Lent is on its way.

This week we fill you in on Katherine's butt pain (that baby is laying on her last nerve!), how Mac had a great husband moment, beautiful warm weather, and our family feeds us all weekend.  We share reviews of Eagle Eye and Lake of Fire, as well as ask you to watch Man on Wire this week and let us know what you think.  To round out, we hear your emails about the issue of altar servers.

Katherine is limping around our house which is not expanding, Mac is revisiting the Matrix trilogy and rolling the world up into a big sticky ball.  In Catholic Stuff we look at the role of alter boys in raising male leaders... and complain about our parish.

Sam's got pneumonia, we're cookin' like crazy, no SQPN babies yet.  We're far too entertained with Lost, BSG, Stuff White People Like, and World of Goo!

Its been two weeks since the last show.  Colds have come and almost gone, it's finally cold outside, West Wing Alias and Okami have been entertaining us, no feedback, and its a week of prayer for Christian unity.  Oh yeah, don't get a dead hamster.

Christmas hits and misses, holiday trips, Benjamin Button, resolutions, and the book, Boys Should Be Boys.

We starve our dogs (not really), look at the year in review, Mac revisits the Mad Max saga, we look forward to the Jan return of Lost and BSG, and we get pretty fired up about the Church abuse scandal.  Merry Christmas!

This Week: Its been two weeks, calamitous Sundays, putting up lights, we review The Fall, get more info on Catholic weddings, and look at whether charity should have its limits.
