This week, Roman Kemp, Sonny Jay and Sian Welby caught up with Chris Martin and Jonny Buckland from Coldplay! The band are back with a new single ‘Higher Power’ plus they chat all things Glastonbury and the possibility of a new album very soon…

Roman, Sonny & Sian also caught up with Doja Cat (briefly) about her new track ‘Kiss More More’ before she hung up! The song features on her new album ‘Planet Her’ plus a few collabs, we really wanted to know about. Turns out the way to get out of Roman, Sonny and Sian’s questions is to just disappear… thankfully Doja returned ready for an art class!

This could very well be the ‘Last Time’ Becky Hill is ever allowed in the Capital Studios, after she pranked Sian Welby with the help of Roman Kemp & Sonny Jay

Sian thought she was interviewing Becky Hill one on one. What she didn’t know is that Roman and Sonny were In Becky’s ear the whole time, making it super cringe and totally awks.

We uncover YUNGBLUD’s very short lived soap careers, staring in a one-time only role in Emmerdale. We also put YUNGBLUD up against WRONGBLUD aka Roman in a cheap red wig, could superfan Katy spot the difference?

Can you believe it? After a very lonely year for Roman Kemp, Sian Welby and Sonny Jay were finally joined by another human being, in the form of Years & Years’ Olly Alexander!

The ‘Starstruck’ singer spoke to some of his biggest fans, via Zoom, and heard all about their humiliating fails from when they met celebrities; including swooning, crying selfies and drunk-dialling.

We also put Anne-Marie and Nathan Dawe’s friendship to the test, following their recent collaboration, ‘Way Too Long’. We pitted the pair against each other as they had to finish each other’s lyrics.

After Sabrina Carpenter told Capital Breakfast with Roman Kemp that her aunt was Nancy Cartwright, star of The Simpsons, Roman didn’t stop banging on about it.

So, naturally, Sian Welby and Sonny Jay had to surprise Roman by introducing him to his hero, voice of Bart Simpson, Nancy.

We were also joined by two people who have topped The Official Big Top 40; Ella Henderson and Tom Grennan, and things escalated real quickly, after she flashed her feet in fish sliders, and he waved a plastic giraffe in our faces.

Olivia Rodrigo has fangirled over One Direction ever since she can remember, which is why - when the ‘drivers license singer joined Capital Breakfast with Roman Kemp - we had to help her out.

Olivia (sort of) met the one and only Harry Styles… If you consider Roman Kemp donning a cheap wig doing his impression to be the same thing.

Alan Carr spoke about his new podcast, ‘Life’s A Beach’, and in doing so, absolutely roasted Sian Welby. Can someone get her some aloe vera, because she just got burnt?!

Sabrina Carpenter has become a household name after her latest single ‘Skin’, but it turns out that Roman Kemp has been aware of - weirdly - Sabrina’s aunt for a lot longer.

Roman lost his actual mind when he found out that Sabrina was related to star of The Simpsons, Nancy Cartwright, who voices Bart. Why is him fangirling just the most pure thing in the world?

Roman, Sian Welby and Sonny Jay also caught up with Nick Jonas, who spoke about his brand new album, ‘Spaceman’, and how it was inspired by his wife, Priyanka Chopra Jonas.

Years & Years’ Olly Alexander has started a very important conversation with his critically acclaimed drama, It’s A Sin. The actor opened up about what it was like to grow up gay, and how it was watching the series with his family.

In a weird turn, David Attenborough, Kim Kardashian and Gordon Ramsey all really confused popstar Ava Max. Yep, you read that right. We did our very own Snatch Game - in honour of Snatch Game champion, Bimini starring in Ava Max’s music video. You need to hear it to believe it.

All of these video calls can be hell; what with bad WiFi or people talking over each other’s jokes, but they can’t get any worse than being truly stitched up on them.

Anne-Marie joined Capital Breakfast with Roman Kemp (and, unbeknownst to her, loads of school kids too!) The ‘Don’t Play’ popstar put on her very own, very awkward stand-up special for one lucky school.

Joel Corry and RAYE also joined Roman, Sian Welby and Sonny Jay to chat about their brand new song ‘BED’ and, in turn, wanted to give their listeners the chance to stay in bed all day, but getting them the day off of work.

Anyone that’s seen The Only Way Is Essex - or, well, anyone at all - can tell you that Joey Essex is not a quizzer. Which is why he was perfect to take on Roman’s Mega Hard Super Quiz.

Can you beat him? (Of course, that is rhetorical. Anyone can beat this score, surely.)

TikTok sensation, Nathan Evans and his producer mate, 220KID, stopped by to deliver some huge news involving an ice rink, spinach, and our very own Sonny Jay.

And if that’s not enough, we also hung out with Ellie Goulding, who spoke about all things love, as well as The Kid LAROI.
