The NBA's top defense surrenders 129 points to the under-manned LA Clippers. The Boston Celtics drop 4 of their last 5 games heading into All-Star Weekend in Los Angeles.

As Celtics fans ramped up for a primetime rematch with their Eastern Conference Finals foes from a year ago, their hopes were quickly dashed as the Cavs took over for good early in the second quarter. The loss dropped the C's a half game back of the Raptors for first in the East for the first time since November. Ray Allen's absence from Paul Pierce's retirement ceremony made noise in the continued Celtics championship team drama.
