Coach Donald Dodgen is one of the most respected names in Tennessee high school athletics. His remarkable 38-year coaching and administrative career has left an enduring legacy of excellence, leadership, and service.

A standout player at Tennessee Wesleyan College, Coach Dodgen later returned to his alma mater as a successful coach, earning induction into the Tennessee Wesleyan Hall of Fame as both a player and coach. He is also a member of the Gatlinburg-Pittman High School Hall of Fame, the Farragut High School Hall of Fame, the Knoxville Interscholastic League (KIL) Coaches Association Hall of Fame, and most recently the 2025 Tennessee Secondary School Athletic Association (TSSAA) Hall of Fame.

Coach Dodgen began his coaching career at McMinn County High School, later coached at Gatlinburg-Pittman High School, and spent the majority of his career at Farragut High School, where he became synonymous with championship-level success.

Over his career, Coach Dodgen compiled an outstanding 655-309 record in basketball. At Farragut alone, he recorded 308 victories, led the Admirals to the 1982 TSSAA State Tournament, and captured numerous district and region championships.

In 2010, Coach Dodgen became Athletic Director at Farragut High School, where his leadership elevated one of Tennessee's premier athletic programs. Under his direction, Farragut athletes and coaches have captured 13 TSSAA State Championships across multiple sports, reflecting his commitment to excellence beyond basketball.

Coach Dodgen's impact extends far beyond wins and championships. He has spent nearly four decades developing young people, mentoring coaches, building winning cultures, and demonstrating what true servant leadership looks like.

Coach Dana McWilliams has spent 29 seasons as a head coach, compiling 660 career victories, 11 district regular-season championships, 13 district tournament championships, five region championships, seven state tournament appearances, four Final Fours, and led Upperman to the 2025 TSSAA State Championship. She was also honored as the 2024 Tennessee BCAT Coach of the Year.

Prior to arriving at White County, Dodgen enjoyed tremendous success at Cannon County High School, where he won more than 300 career games and became one of the most respected coaches in the state. Under Dodgen's leadership, the White County Warriorettes have become one of Tennessee's elite programs. Tony Miller was named the third head coach in the Bruins men’s basketball history in August of 2025. He previously served as the Director of Basketball Operations under Coach Neal Ring and then as an assistant coach for Coach Burton Uwarow.

As a member of the coaching staff, the Bruins have won 5 NCCAA South Region championships and made 6 appearances at NCCAA National Championships. During his tenure, Miller has coached four 1st team NCCAA All-Americans, 10 NCCAA All-Americans, five NCCAA South Region Players of the Year, and 23 NCCAA South Region All-Region players.

Miller earned a doctorate in Sports Management from the United States Sports Academy in 2014. He also has two degrees from Bob Jones University – a bachelor's degree in Health, Fitness, & Recreation and a master's degree in Secondary Education.

Wyatt Walker enters his second season coaching the Girls Varsity Basketball at Episcopal. In his first season, the Eagles reached the regional semi-finals of the FHSAA playoffs. With notable wins over Windermere Prep, University Christian, and Father Lopez, the Eagles return the majority of their core players and are seeking to make another deep playoff run. Prior to Episcopal, Coach Walker coached the boys’ basketball team at Mill Creek Academy, where the Mustangs had back-to-back winning seasons and finished runner-up in the conference championship. He played at Providence School where he was a part of two state championship winning teams. During his high school career he never lost a home game and accumulated a 117-10 record, winning four consecutive district championships as well as four consecutive regional championships. He is Providence’s all-time leading rebounder, third leading scorer, second leading shot blocker, and was named the 2015 Florida Times-Union player of the year. He played college basketball at Samford University where he led the Southern Conference in rebounds and double-doubles. He then transferred to North Carolina State where he started for the Wolfpack for the 2019 season and was named to the 2018-2019 All ACC-Academic Team. Coach Walker was selected 25th overall in the 2019 NBA G League draft and played the 2019 season for the Utah Jazz’s G league team, the Salt Lake City Stars. Jake Nannen is the Head Varsity Girls Basketball Coach at Elkhorn South High School, competing in Nebraska’s largest classification (Class A). In the beginning of his sixth season as a head coach, Nannen owns a 70–53 overall record, with a proven track record of building fast paced offenses.

Since taking over at Elkhorn South in 2023, Nannen has led one of the most statistically improved teams in school history. During his first season, the Storm set multiple offensive school records, including 222 made three-pointers (Top 10 Class A History), 17 made 3s in a game (Top 5 Class A History), earned the most wins since 2019–20, and saw major gains in scoring (3rd most PPG in school history), ball movement, and efficiency. His impact earned him recognition as a Top 5 finalist for the Omaha Metro MBCA Class A Coach of the Year.
