In today’s episode, Jonathan meets Chandler Simpson, a brave young woman with a culture of silence arrayed against her as she searches for her mother, Suzanne. Though Chandler’s father was arrested on assault and murder charges, Suzanne’s body has not been recovered since her disappearance in October 2024. During their conversation, Jonathan and Chandler touch on the community pressures impeding the investigation. Later, Jonathan reveals that the authorities may have been searching for Suzanne in the wrong place.
