If you want to change your life, you have to go one morešš»
In this episode, I chat with Ed Mylett about his new book, 'The Power of One More,' and his journey leading up to it.
Ed begins by explaining his dad's impact on his life and his struggle with alcoholism.
Despite watching his father struggle with alcohol at a young age, Ed learned valuable skills that would lead him to make a lot of money.
Ed also talks about the inspiration for the concept of his book, called going "one more," which was inspired by his dad's struggle to quit alcohol.
The concept of "one more" is about putting 100% effort into everything you do and then doing one more of those things.
Going "one more" is the difference between succeeding and failing because you're pushing yourself to do more than you think you can.
Another topic we cover in this episode is failing to live your life aligned with your goals because you think they're too far away.
If you want to reach your goals, you need to live every day with the intention of achieving those goals sooner than you think.
You never know how close you are to changing your life, according to Ed. The one thing that could change your life might be right around the corner, but you weren't living intentionally, so you might miss it.
It was an honor to have Ed Mylett on this show, and I hope you enjoyed this episode.
