Let us take time now to remember the concepts of mindfulness, emphasizing the importance of being aware of our senses, thoughts, feelings, and emotions without judgment. Research indicates often, when we get distracted by thoughts and emotions, we focus on negativity. The goal of mindfulness isn’t to deny reality or live in a non-existent world but to pay attention to the present moment. Sometimes, that may be difficult when trying to manage our stress. We may tend to ruminate over negative experiences.
