Shuffle Tuesday in full effect!

This week in typical fashion, pendejadas are in abundance. We touch on Father's day and something about mariscos, then we hear about someone's unorthodox pick up lines which leads to a discussion on dating. That segues nicely into a conversation about prostitution... not the way it sounds. Shuffle over to a bit of paisa-facts to keep the show going which is followed up by a "Is it Douchy?"

Be sure to stick around to the end, well almost the end, because the pendejadas go off the rails.

So yeah... another one that is a little looong. Why? No reason, I guess. This one just keeps giving.

This episode we test out having patrons call in and it is a semi-success. Watch out for more call in episodes. We also, shuffle around a bunch of topics like the square in the room, the new Mexican champ, Japanese appreciation of the culture, learning new things, and theory versus psychedelics to treat mental issues. Of course, with the classic pendejadas sprinkled everywhere.

We're back at East LA C.A.P.E. having a chingon time again. Again this year, it was inspiring to see so many people doing what they love to do and to be around a community with such a positive vibe. We got to sit down with a nice variety of people to have some chingon conversations and plenty of laughs. We talk to local listener that came by to hang out about, well, us... but it does get pretty deep. That's followed by an interview with cosplayer Utahime... we discuss her story and all about finding your community. We also, get to hear some more about Ramon from a direct source, his sister... yes, chisme time. The shuffle continues with an interview with artist John Narcomey... we discuss his story and an interesting situation that just went down.

Not going to lie, it's a long episode. You might need a coffee and to get on the 405 freeway (local humor, sorry... whatever highway near you has the most traffic, might need to go there) to hear it all. Trust, we think it's worth it. ***Side note: Episode was recorded live at our booth, and therefore has plenty of ambient noise... just as if you were there.

In case you missed the reference, yeah we get a little bit biblical. It's not as serious as it sounds... plenty of pendejadas are running wild. Yeah, it's not that type of joke... they both come up in this episode of the shuffle. Plus, a story of "lean" and Home Depot, a discussion on the recent abortion laws, some air Jordan talk, and even a "Is it douchy?"! There is a healthy level of pendejadas sprinkled around but it peaks at the end.

Let's see... 88... what happens here... few things... simon. We shuffle around discussing things like some classic 911 calls, a few actors, some tv shows and movies. Not to mention, how we missed the viking invasion. Then people get into their individual shuffle spring break trips to Europe and Atlanta. We converse on the differences in culture and a story of being scammed. It's all wrapped up in a nice clumsily manner because, well, maybe we forgot how.

This week, there is a bit less shuffling and the discussion goes from serious to a bit more serious. We start off a with discourse about the raza and our mindset on finances and wealth... just as the title says... la neta.  There are a couple other small topics sprinkled around but then things get back to seriousness. (Sidenote: this is one of those episodes where you can imagine the Joker saying the classic line "why so serious?") Things do get a little bit more serious about a serious topic... suicide and depression. So, yeah... while we have a bit of the usual pendejadas, la neta... this one is a bit more serious.

We discuss being with the right crowd or team that complements you, the classic WebMd search, and people's sleeping rhythm. Then we workshop the possibility of adding a fourth voice to the podcast. Some shuffling, plus a little more shuffling... the conversation takes us back to the chicano spectrum and the "paisicano" in the room. We wrap it up with a little bit more shuffling.
