Chicano Shuffle

This week we bring back the topic of the smug maga hat teen to re-discuss as the whole picture is much different now. Then we have a quick discourse about keeping the money in the community. The discussion about being respectful continues and weaves in and out.  We also have a conversation on whether the raza dances the electric slide or country line dance. Yeah, a bit random... we know. A listener sent a nice message to motivate and someone was a little rude...we discuss.  It's wrapped up with a dialogue on the documentaries about the Frye Festival.

Disclaimer: This may or may not be a rough one (probably the former). Our little threesome has been cut down to a twosome today... it's a sad day.

That being said, we think we did a decent job but it might not be our best work. We do discuss some current events and other pendejadas. The discourse gets into serious events like the teacher strike, the smug maga hat teen, and even the shutdown. We also touch on the Gillette commercial controversy and even get a bit into the #metoo movement (which admittedly is a touch subject).  Along the way we also talk about a couple words that can't be used anymore and our opinions... yes opinions people... so don't take it to heart. The episode in general lacks a little someone this week, listen in to hear que pedo.

No guest this week... only pendejadas... yup.

Someone thinks that we pick on him, yeah maybe but we move on quickly. We discuss the Coachella lineup which this year includes a crazy little surprise. This leads to a natural discourse about a bunch of latino bands and music in general. Then we transition over to a topic someone heard else where... guess we are out of ideas... but it's a good topic, gentefication. Not gentrification or is it? The discussion eventually leads to the Amazon divorce and a related topic that has been getting someone in trouble lately.

This week... actor, rapper, and now comedian, Big Citric returns to the shuffle with producer and writer, Rabbit.

Between these two vatos and the usual suspects, the pendejadas are firing on all cylinders! We discuss their big upcoming projects including Citric's podcast and Big Citric's World. They tell us just about everything you need to know about the two different shows, the whats and whens... plus what's going on with the Solid Kings brand. There is plenty of shuffling but we touch on some 90's references, raza being stereotyped, and having some identity issues. Not to mention, in typical shuffle fashion, it going off the rails here and there. Sass!

This week we kick off with someone telling us about seeming like an assh#le without actually being an assh#le and the situations you get into. Then a shuffle to a quick talk about the passing of the 41st President which somehow leads to a deep quote about pets vs animals we eat. We have a discourse about bad subtitles and bad accents on shows.

We also talk about smoking, someone's movie theater dreams, and "El Miguelito" Jackson. We wrapped it up with a "Is it douchey?"

Welcome back... it's December... Christmas is coming... End of the year is coming... pendejadas are coming.

First things, first... if you review the review show don't base it on this one. Not saying it isn't strong but by some standards (that we don't adhere to), it might not be top shelf. We do talk about the upcoming Adventures in Lyfting, which took a misstep right off the bat. We also hear about someone's church/religious days and how to convert a couple vatos. Plus, the possible tranzas learned from these stories. This goes for a bit but there is a sprinkle of pendejadas to give it some sabor. This leads, of course, to the events at the border... the caravan and the tear gas.

The shuffle touches on some random chingaderas, as is usual, including an update on the frijole hater lady. That leads into some discussion about Tijuana and the border events.  We even talk about those moments when you or someone F'ed up the moment and kill the party. This takes the shuffle over to a conversation about being the grenade plus some ridiculous dating tips you learn as a youngster.

We also get into the usual Netflix and/or movie recommendation. Plus all the other randomness.
